Daniel graduated from the University of the West England with a First Class Honours degree in Business Studies with Economics. The story of how Daniel became part of the VP team is an interesting one. Daniel was in the process of searching for an opportunity to work within Financial Services, and was working on his CV in a coffee shop. Coincidently, he overheard a conversation on the next table, of one of our management team discussing our AdVantage Programme. Daniel heard how Vantage look for graduates who are eager to start a career in Capital Markets, and that possess a raw talent and energy. He felt that this sounded like the perfect opportunity for him, and approached our team member to ask if he could be considered. Daniel’s initiative was impressive, so he was taken through the recruitment process, and soon after able to join and begin his training as an AdVantage Consultant. We like to think it was a little bit of a fate that bought Daniel to us! It also goes to show that you can find your dream job in all sorts of places.
Daniel found that the practical nature of the training helped him to prepare himself for his work with a client. We saw quick progression in Daniel, and he was soon after placed into a Top Tier Investment Bank working as an analyst in Financial Crime Regulation. Daniel is passionate about Financial Markets and thrives on the target-driven culture. His drive is reflected in his work, as Daniel carried out a significant number of hours, which has impressed the client and us immensely. Despite the extra hours, Daniel ensures that the quality of work remains very high. After just 4 months, Daniel has definitely made an impression so it is with great pleasure that we award him this month’s ‘Consultant of the Month’. It is the recognition he deserves for lots of hard work!
His story proves that once given the opportunity, smart and hard-working graduates can truly excel in the world of Financial Services, and Daniel is a shining example of that.
