Daniel studied his postgraduate Master’s degree at University College of London, and came to Vantage Point shortly after to pursue a career in Financial Services. Daniel worked through our training programme with consistent diligence, and was soon after placed working in a Top Tier Investment Bank.
A year later, we reflect upon Daniel’s hard work and development over the course of the programme. What stands out in Daniel is his high level of maturity as a consultant; despite being in the early stages of his career he has always displayed a commendable approach to his work. In particular, Daniel has been praised for his ability to create and delivery presentations to management in a composed and credible way. Daniel has been observed to work well under pressure, and the way he composes himself has greatly impressed both us at VP and the client. This is why we have decided to award him with this month’s ‘Consultant of the Month’- as recognition for his admirable behaviour.
Talking to Daniel about his achievements, he says he has enjoyed the responsibility of taking on new tasks and learning to grow by being part of an exciting working environment. Delivering efficiently under pressure is an crucial skill, which led to Daniel and I discussing the importance of getting out of your comfort zone. This is the advice Daniel said he would give anyone who is about to embark on a new career. The more you get out of your comfort zone, the more opportunities you will find in your professional life. Daniel’s understanding of this contributes to his achievements over the past year, as he continues to work on an exciting project within an Investment Bank.
