This project involved assessing a client’s business from an Operational Risk perspective. Our Vantage Point consultants were given the task of evaluating their risk profiles, identifying control gaps and new risks and finally providing control assurance. Our consultants were responsible for designing new controls to effectively remediate and manage Operational Risks across various businesses. A crucial aspect of the project was committing to the core deadlines set by regulators. Regulators define the framework for modern banks to operate and our consultants ensured this framework was embedded and maintained from Operational Risk and Control perspective.
Our teams were deployed for ten months, and throughout this time period they were trusted with important responsibilities. Individuals were given the responsibility of being in charge of several projects that contributed towards a more robust and mature Operational Risk and Control framework and timely commitment to regulatory requirements.
The project was diverse, allowing our consultants to have various duties and responsibilities throughout their placement. Due to the nature of the project, no two tasks were the same. This gave our team a wide range of experience and enabled them to learn how various business lines operate within a modern Investment Bank.
